Not OP, I know, I think it goes without saying that genetics causes predispositions to major mental health issues but I think the literature is pretty clear that BPD develops due to a pervasively invalidating environment. Some families say it is genetics because they dont want to reflect on their own intergenerational toxic shame.

One of my heroes in the field calls the diagnosis "an assault on women" and never diagnoses anyone with BPD. Instead he diagnoses them with "complex trauma". What is your opinion about that? Thanks for sharing!

Nichols argues that one should simply dismiss their claims outright and not argue or debate the merits of the conspiracy theory. Why do you believe that debating the facts is a more effective strategy in debunking bogus claims?

This is the correct answer. I had a similar experience. US milk is mostly poisonous. The soy is riddled with glyphosate. It's a shit show and causing millions of literal shit shows. I was also helped by a chance encounter with a dietician.
