This is a really important question. I think the Greens are a party based on fighting for idealistic goals with the goal of shifting the discussion towards them. Becoming the 3rd biggest party during a period of dissatisfaction has forced them into a fundamentally different situation; its much harder to stay idealistic when they have a real say in parliament and must be accountable. The Greens really need to decide what kind of party they are now.
