Seattle was known as a romantic city because of a very talented accordionist that busked every day downtown. That’s why the movies Sleepless in Seattle and Singles were such hits. It’s always had a vibrant music and arts community. If I was a talented street musician my happy ass would be over in South Lake Union every day playing for wealthy workers at Amazon and Google offices. Just saying.
