I had the exact same experience. The Japanese girl in my class in 7th grade would deny Japanese war crimes and claimed that the Japanese were "nicer than the Nazis." Pretty ironic considering her father was an American GI.

My teacher fortunately, being a history fanatic, told the class that "Even though we don't go over a lot of the war crimes by Japan because it is not in the curriculum, if you want to know more, you can always ask /u/parktheredbus." I told my friends lots of atrocities. They were especially terrified of the vivisections and human centrifuges. To this day, I remember the Japanese girl's face as I told the class.

It used to be a competing brand with Dunkin until they bought them out. Now it's only in Japan (under the name, but still owned by Dunkin) and Godfrey, IL.

In other words, "is Japanese Dunkin better than American Dunkin?"
