Holy crap!

  1. It takes 3-4 hours to record all the vocals for an episode. Though that is just recording vocals. /u/bloodworthOOC spends days writing each ep. Then we'd table read them 2-3 times and do 3-4 drafts. Then we would probably record 3-5 hours worth of foley/sound effects. Then we edit everything together which takes 1-2 days. Then we'd score each episode which is 2-3 days. Then each episode has live strings which is a couple of hours. Lastly, we have to get the mix right which takes DAYS (there are roughly 300-500 tracks in a Darkest Night recording session). So this project has literally been my life for the last couple of months but I wouldn't have it any other way.

  2. We don't rehearse a lot but there are a lot of multiple takes and cutting

Answering for myself.

  1. Didn't dress up for halloween. I mostly wore a leather jacket and jeans while stating I was Larry David.

  2. The Mars Volta, Tool, Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground, Opeth, and Tame Impala.
