I found Riven infinitely 'easier' than Myst. The clues to the puzzles were so much more intuitive... much more power-of-observation-based. I think Riven is definitely the better of the two, but I consider it significantly 'eaiser'.

I may be an outlier here.

Oh, I envy you. I still remember waking out of the theatre the first time I saw it on the original run...I was emotionally stunned. It was wonderful. Keep your heart and mind open!
