Disconnect sex and love.

You can have sex without loving someone, right? Most people can, for sure.

So then why is sex required for love? You love many people you don't have sex with.

Once you arrive at the philosophy of life with someone that you're going to spend the rest of your life with them because you get along with them and generally like them, would you stop feeling that way just because you couldn't have sex with them? A good chunk of people would say no to that. So if thats the case, then why is sex sacred? If you answer religious beliefs, then I can't argue with you, and won't. But if you can't find a good answer to that, then why does it matter who has sex with whom?

I admit the logic is easier to explain than to accept, but the logic is sound. There's usually an insecurity behind refusing to accept it. You love people you don't have sex with. You have sex with people you don't love, so they don't need to be connected.

No, Josh doesn't seem to have the correct drive to be a captain/boat owner. He spends a lot of time doing shit he shouldn't be doing and in general wasting time and money.

Pretty much can't say Jake is a decent guy when he almost kills Casey while he was fixing the rudder last year, and then this year wants Bill to bring him pot rings and then never makes one move in his direction to go pick them up.
