Afghanistan is said to have mineral wealth approaching the value of one trillion, much of it lithium. They can’t sustain the infrastructure they’ve got left because of corruption, competing factions and violence. Is there an economic and political ‘sweet spot’ coming where it will practical and profitable to harvest lithium?
