It's ok, I'm 25 and the best thing I've accomplished is finding a boyfriend who's o.k. with staying in bed, smoking and eating fruit loops all day.

I mean, it's awesome, but it ain't no Clerks.

What is the difference between mint and peppermint? The mint leaves I find at the store are always sweet mint, I honestly thought peppermint was just an artificial flavor.

One thing I have always appreciated about West Asians (I think that's the most inclusive I could be while also being specific... please correct me if I'm wrong!) is the beautiful, loving way in which they greet and address one another. I've had many close family friends who were Iranian, Persian, Lebanese, Saudi Arabian (and from various religions/non-religions) throughout my life, and I always feel like I'm watching something special when they gather together. My own family is Puerto Rican, and I thought we were affectionate!

A kid in one of my college classes once referred to this same group as "flowery and effusive for appearance's sake." He was so wrong.

Anyways... I agree, they are beautiful.

Wow, 47 grandkids! Just curious, are they all blood related? As in, no step-grandkids, adopted grandkids, foster grandkids, etc...

Both my sets of grandparents had 4 kids, and my parents (born in 1945 and 1950) went on to have 4 kids of their own. Still, my family has always been considered large compared to most of my peers, whereas 4 children wasn't unusual for my grandparents' generation.

Sorry if this is an invasive question, but it's pretty uncommon for baby boomers to outstrip their parents in terms of family size! But 47รท6=7.8, which is impressive if they didn't adopt, foster, or marry someone with kids from a previous relationship!

Ah, great grand kids too! That explains the high number. It must be really fantastic to be surrounded by so much love!
