If you hold a flashlight against your skin does the light spread out far?

I feel like your first trip you should be somewhere familiar and/or at least with a 'trip sitter' that you undoubtedly trust. Amazing the difference it can make. It's a shame you had a negative experience on something so potentially positive. I wish you the best in your future endeavors!
