Environmental groups campaign to have "renewable energy" (ie ambient energy) power plants installed on the basis that it is practical today and that generation IV nuclear power plants require huge taxpayer subsidies and are unproven. At the same time they typically demand capital investments and subsidies from governments to install CSP, PV, and wind farms on the basis that governments should be investing in the development of "renewable energy".
Do you see any hypocrisy in that view?
