The wife and I were on a cruise one time and I tried to play craps in the casino.
It was during the day and nice outside, so there were only about 4-5 passengers in the whole place. I thought, "this might be a good opportunity to learn how to play craps!" so I walked over to the two guys manning the table and asked them to show me the ropes. I'm pretty sure they replied with, "sure, it's easy"... the lying fucks.
Holy shit, it was like I was Neo and these two guys tried to upload a 25GB program into my 100MB brain - total information overload and I retained almost none of it. I remember handing them $20, getting some chips and placing a bet somewhere on that vast table of numbers and symbols. Then I rolled the dice once and they told me I needed to roll some specific number again. I tried to roll that number eight times and failed, until I finally rolled something that was, apparently, bad and they took all my chips.
