Does it pay well?

Did the pandemic give some of those in charge of enforcing lockdowns, mandates, etc a bit of a power trip? It always seemed like a bit of an opportunity for this, but I'd be curious to know if that was the case.

Second question: Sheriffs are normally associated with the right wing - but are any sheriffs massively left wing?

A Russian oligarch in this case. Not that he's not entitled to own what he wants - if he can pay for it!

When I was in Singapore many years ago, it was all 'third world to first' - how bad a state Singapore had been in the 1960s, and how through LKH's leadership, it's all risen from ruins.

Did LKH's government exaggerate how bad Singapore was in the 1960s?
