I don't think he ever said anything contrary to Nigeria being behind on the LGBT rights field, I don't see the point with this comment.

His patch isn't in Swedish. It looks like Norwegian or Danish to me. Could also be that the sentence in old Norse is identical and that it's some kind of viking romantic stuff, which is rife in the world today, especially in Ukraine where several historical rulers were of Scandinavian heritage and thus bundled up in their patriotism.

Besides, it's a weird "proof" of his non-ukrainianship. The patch can have literally any kind of story.
