What would you say to a 17 year old potentially wanting to join the military?

It's just always been something I've been interested in. Travelling, being outside, taking up a position of responsibility and protection. Its been something I've followed since I was young, I loved going to military museums and shows.

Taking a role in protecting my country's interests and trying to help people in my nation, or others around the world, draws me in.
