The answer: nothing. There is not going to be a planetary alignment of any sort on Dec. 21, much less a galactic alignment. Even if there was, planetary alignments have happened countless times in the past, even during human history. And in all of those times, nothing happened.

Thanks for taking the time to answer! I can say that from the iTunes samples, you've really struck that chord which brings the Red and Blue music to a, dare I say, masterfully artistic level. Orchestral/Instrumentation always seems to add depth to music that I've never quite understood, but with Kanto Symphony you really seem to have managed to get what you were trying to accomplish by fleshing them out.

I never owned a Gen 1 game in my life (Gen 2 startup as well), but I saw/experienced enough of those games to have the spirit of the music ingrained into me. And let me tell you, the sound I'm hearing from Kanto Symphony just screams a grand adventure that has been told time and time again, but only much more majestic, as if there is a finality to it all. Nostalgia? Perhaps. Nonetheless, your hard work has paid off and you have created something fantastic. I do hope you consider the other games in the future, at the very least with Johto and Hoenn.

All the same, I applaud you on your work and I thank you again for your reply.

Alright Skotein, I haven't bought Kanto Symphony just yet (need to gather the funds together, but I will buy it!), but just hearing the samples on iTunes is more than a treat. You've done incredible work here and I hope to see more in the future.

As for questions though, what made you decide to create Kanto Symphony? I mean, there's obviously the love for Pokemon and your musical work, but what sealed the deal for you to pursue creating this album? Going with that, what were the most difficult parts of the project?
