My endocrinologist said there is inflammation in my small intestine. Can it cause brain fog after eating wrong foods? Fat in dairy and meat, trans fats, some kinds of sugar and wheat cause immediate brain fog during eating. Antihistamines improve my condition. Doctors couldn't find anything else, but insulin resistance. It is well controlled with strict diet and exercise, but brain fog stays.

This thing has messed up my work life too. Nearly one of every two days is lost. Recently started to get better cause I realized some latest triggers, but took 6 years to understand. And every time I break my diet, fog comes back immediatelly. Before good food was biggest joy of my life. Now every meal is a minefield.

I wonder how I became so sensitive to lack of sleep. If I sleep 8,5 hours instead of 9, whole day I feel sleepy. I regularly exercise, sleep and wake up at same hours, eat well and try to be careful about sleeping hygiene. Can it be related to insulin resistance or histamine intolerance?
