Theoretically, a team led by Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge with Nic Batum as the do-it-all wing and Greg Oden anchoring the defense would have been incredible.

Just like Morey's last construction with Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming surrounded by an incredible cast of role players (including Ron Artest and Shane Battier, possibly the two best on-ball defenders in the NBA at the time) got unlucky with injuries.
