I appreciate your effort to communicate about yourself and the disease. Your article is interesting and informative. Here come my questions:

  • Is it possible to devise a completely oxalate-free diet? If yes, is it effective and sustainable?
  • Is gene therapy possible?
  • Are there any correlations between this disease and gut flora?
  • Who/what inspires you in life?

Thank for taking time to do this AMA.

Thank you for protecting the pangolin. We need more people like you. Do you ever get desperate and want to give up? How do you keep your motivation going?

I'm sorry that you are battling this alone with a bottle of drink. You sound like a very nice person and so does your girl. But the two of you are searching different things in life right now.

Your suffering results not from her behaviour, but from your attachement to what you would like to see happen. Unfortunately, life doesn't flow in straight lines and the resulting pain and suffering teach us a precious lesson. The value of detachment. The freedom from one's own prison.

This could be a great opportunity for you in life.

Are you going to finish that bottle next to you and deaden your senses or will you let pain lead you to the innermost unexplored depths of yourself? What will you discover, if you do?
