I'm hoping none of these questions were answered already, but forgive me if they were. I got three questions for Hodge.

  1. What exactly will the movie be about? Is it just following the actions of bronies during cons and stuff like that or will it explain the origin of bronies as well as the ongoing fascinations of the pop-culture? Basically, what will this contain and will it differ from the Bronies documentary that cameo'd John De Lancie and Tara Strong?

  2. Do you only focus on males aged 13-30? I saw this frame in the trailer for the movie, but I am not sure if this was a good definition of a brony. A brony is generally in that demographic, but realistically, there are bronies of all ages, genders, and even in all calibers of obsession (whether it be a casual watching of the show and owning a few shirts or making their entire life filled to the brim with pony anything.) To only focus on that one group would be an oversight on what the brony fandom really is, so I'm wondering if that's happening.

  3. Why did you choose to cover Bronies as a movie topic? Surely it's been done for a while, and this fandom isn't really anything new. It's been nearly 3 and a half years and since then, there have been a lot of coverage on the pop culture.

For Ashleigh, I got two questions.

  1. Do you consider yourself a brony in any way? Not as in a standard definition, but by your own standards. If so, how?

  2. This is a rather tricky question to ask, and I'm almost sure I'll get snipped at for asking this, but I'm curious about your opinion. Involving this post, were you afraid that there may have been any drawbacks to posting this? I'm not against anything like this (personally I encourage it), but I'm wondering if you thought it might affect your career in any way, or if it would cause an uproar amongst the fandom. There are obviously people that support this post, but there are others who probably felt alienated by this post in one way or another.
