Thank you! We also liked to give regular customers wrestler names in the ordering system. When George phoned in his order, we had his name as "George the Animal Steele". We also had a "Macho Man Randy Savage". Made for a good laugh when those folks would call to order and we saw the name. Small way to make things more lighthearted while working.

Timed orders would generally pop up at the top of the screen on our Pulse system. So it did have some impact as it would go to the front of the line even if we hade a full makeline screen.

Its not just management. Regular, non-management insiders would clear off items all the time prior to putting it in the oven when I worked at Dominos. If I got a one item order while closing and it was the only item on the screen, I'd clear it then make the item and throw it in the oven. Other folks just get satisfaction from having a cleared screen. Or if we had a large timed order and already had it pre-made (dough slapped, sauced and topped, NOT baked), we'd clear all at once when we started loading the order in the oven to clear space so we could see items at the bottom of the screen that still had to be made.

George came in every Tuesday for 2x Tuesday and got 2 large mushroom pizzas for him and his mother to share over the week. When that special was discontinued, we continued to give him the same price.
