I was in a debate in elementary school. We were the jurors in the case of the wolf and the 3 little pigs and after listening to the testomonies we had to decide if the wolf was guilty.

I was the only one who believed in the wolf, the pigs saw "a wolf" there was no evidence of it being this wolf, this wolf was a kind baker who asked to borrow a cup of sugar. Not a murderer.

Everyone had to agree before we could leave, but i was determined to protect the wolf. Eventually one by one the class came to my side over my unbreakable arguments "the little pig could not identify the big bad wolf (family name) as the perpetrator" and the ever encroaching recess. But there were some who sought to ruin the wolf's good name.

The courtroom was tense, on the brink of tears. And then the last child fell to my superior debating tactics.

No recess was worth another souls life.
