That's incredibly horrible. I'm sorry that happens to you. I'm a multi-digit amputee myself, with major scarring and damage on the rest of my hand. I usually find that adults never seem to notice my hand injury (the brain is weird that way), but the number of times children have run up to me and pointed while yelling, "ewwww! look at his hand!", is waaaaay too high.

Honestly though, I miss being a kid that could go outside, sweat, dry off and still smell sweet as daisy. Now, if I even break a pit sweat, I need a shower and new clothes for dinner out. :(
