To be fair, it sounds like this guy is already a very successful magician, and was more brought on to have a really impressive opening for the show than as a genuine contestant.

As I recall, that particular content required a mod to access; a normal user could never find it. That caused the big controversy, because from one standpoint it was something you could only see my modifying the game, which means the rating no longer applies. However, the content was still technically a part of it, so it entered into a legal grey area. But yes, eventually they decided to raise it to AO and the game was re-released.

I love your site, it helps me keep up with the kids these days.

My question is, are there ever memes where you feel like the standard format (origin -> spread -> etc) isn't really appropriate/useful?

Wait, I'm confused; if you received the patent, what did you miss? Couldn't you have sued whoever marketed it, since you had IP protection in place?
