I'm 48, male. I have this much, much worse than you, and no surgery was ever done, nor was any ever suggested to me. I never even knew surgery was available until I Googled it around age 30 out of curiosity.

No doctor has ever mentioned health implications. Wonder if this is something that's more closely watched nowadays? Are doctors/medicine just more aware of bad side effects?

Thanks. I'm 5'11" and always been on the thin side, but not skinny. Normal proportioned hands, and wide feet. I feel fine, too. But I will look into it.
