Seems like all sports cars are getting toward the boring utility car from my end of the spectrum.

I guess everything tend toward whatever sells.

Do you think affordable enthusiast cars will eventually come back?

There appears to be a black hole in the RWD/decent HP/reasonnable proce with a stick shift these days.

You have either the wimpy BRZ/Miata, the obese challenger, or the extreme expensive and unreliable AMGs.

Also, what are your thoughts on electric cars? I am specially interested in realistic attempts, like the Volt which has a gas range extender (not the expensive tesla)

The V8 gets better gas mileage than a Honda S2000, by the way.

Being the owner of a C5, I am fully aware of that.

The LS/T56 is an impressive powertrain.

I guess I haven't counted those, merely because the V8 variant of these cars are not in the affordable sections, and V6 are gay (I know, I am a retard).

I'd would sonsider anything that has a power to weight ratio of 12lb/hp or lower is in my "reasonnbly fast". Decent handling is also necessary.

The Camaro 2018 LT V6 actually appears to be there. For some reason, I always saw these cars at overweight yachts.
