The Framers thought making electors vote on the same day in different states would make it impossible for them to coordinate.

This, in addition to the fact that demagoguery seemed nigh impossible in rural areas because of the tyranny of geography, is why we need to change how the system is set up.

I have no problem with barriers to demagoguery, but I cannot stand how they only exist in urban areas, in high-population coastal states. Living in a city no longer makes you more prone to being led astray by false promises of panem et circenses. Now that exists even in rural areas.

I live in a city that went from vastly moderate Republican to vastly moderate Democrat over the past 20 years. Do you believe that your action can be the beginning of a larger moderate movement for a fiscally conservative, socially responsible Republican party, and how could that happen with a large voting block in the Southeast that seems to want revenge rather than progress for all?

Edit: Also, thank you. I'm a split-ticket voter and it is because of responsible people such as yourselves that I feel comfortable voting Republican for administrative and other positions on the state level. Your actions really do make a big difference in how we can move forward as a country.

Our family enjoys watching football, but we don't let our own kids play. We feel like jerks benefiting from the exploitation of young kids in some cases, who didn't have a better path to success, and we would love to watch a game that was less harmful to the player's brains in particular.

My question is: How do you foresee football changing in a way that it is still a full-contact sport, but less dangerous to the players and their physical and mental health? Do you see the pastime changing a lot, a little bit, or not at all (presumably in that case you'd rather it die out)?

And how do you see it changing?

Thanks.

Do you think that removing padding would reduce impact?

I understand what you are trying to say but they aren't actually the same game.
