I often wonder if they are losing money, or not getting the best advertising, because after a while, everyone has heard of them, and has possibly bought their product.

If I remember correctly from "The Martian", all nasa images are public domain and have to be released in 24 hours. (Or maybe its a week I forget)

EDIT: I'm talking about the books, and I realize it is fiction. All I am saying is a lot of the things from the book were researched and were somewhat realistic, I doubt the author would fake this.
