I know of a 74 year old couple that got a multi million dollar payout for loss of consortium. In their 70s, they got a few million because they couldn't fuck. After going through a handful of legal issues, I am 100% convinced that the law doesn't make any goddamn sense.

I'm curious and you seem extensively knowledgeable on the subject: What are your opinions on opiate addicts (in remission) using marijuana for legitimate medical purposes? I'm a recovering opiate addict who also has multiple chronic pain conditions, and I find that I am often made to feel like a pariah or that I'm somehow cheating for using marijuana to deal with the pain (it doesn't interfere with any of my responsibilities or trigger any sort of relapse reflex for me. It's been about six and a half months since I started using it for the pain)

I apologize if I came off as resentful. The medical professionals I've dealt with have done all they can for me; I feel that they are mainly just bound by the ignorant policies of their employers. Thanks for the answer! Keep up the good work. It's very refreshing to hear from someone who sort of validates my opinion on the subject, as selfish as that may sound.

I think the same thing (obviously). I'm most definitely a drug addict, but not because I use weed. It's just ridiculous. It's legal in my state but I'm given an either/or as far as treating my other conditions go (I'm a dual diagnosis patient - quadruple is probably more apt lol). I can either get meds for my cravings, for the pain, or for my emotional disorders, but not all 3. It's made my life pretty shitty but it's still better than using.
