Why is the exchange of money required to convince elected representatives to vote the way their constituents want?

Were you allowed to wash your hands?

How old are you?

Did the researchers gather samples (eww) or data along the way?

money is not as influential as most people thing (sic)

90% of the time, the candidate who raises the most money wins

These two statements seem to be at odds with each other

Has anyone ever tried to calculate how many lives have been spared already because tasers were used instead of bullets? What's the next big leap in non-lethal alternatives to guns?
