Hey David! I'm a huge fan! In fact, you were the one who inspired me to do magic (I even have your 15 years of magic DVD from when I visited Taiwan)! Anyway, this will be a bit more personal...

I went to see your show around new years at Vegas. When you went into the audience to perform your floating-napkin/rose-change effect (sorry if I butchered the name), I was about 8 feet away from you. I remember looking very intensely at and above you in order to try to figure out how it worked. You then waved (in a magical fashion) to your cameraman, who moved in front of me to block my view. I shifted to get a better view, you waved at him again, and he moved to block me again.

I want to apologize if I was being a nuisance, I'm very inquisitive.

A physicist! I've been waiting for one. I've been wondering this for a while, but can't come up with a solid answer.

If I was in space and I attached an LED light to one corner of a cube, is it possible for me to push/toss/throw/rotate the cube in such a way along a linear path that the LED light's pattern would never repeat itself (aka, there would never be a period)?

EDIT: Forgot to include my thoughts: assume we are dealing with only two different spins upon two different axis... Normally we'd say that these two axis could combine to form a new axis upon which our cube is rotating. Therefore if one of the original axis has an irrational period, then there is no net period, right? However, I have trouble convincing myself that it would be possible to have an irrational period in the first place... blargh.

EDIT2: "Trouble convincing myself", because my question was if YOU (not a machine) can push/toss/throw/rotate the cube.

How exactly does it work?

Can you tell us about the negative side effects, if there are any?

Do you wipe front to back, or back to front?

Would you rather... nah, I'll leave it at those three.

If I bring the flight attendants/captains candy and magazines, can you hook me up with free drinks?

For the record, I meant drinks as in alcohol.

Also, how many flight attendants have families? I'd imagine it's hard to maintain one.
