Interesting. My dads a Vietnam vet too (along with several of his friends) and with one exception, they don't like to hunt.

They should follow up with Super Firemen or something and be just behind the line of blatant fuck you to the studio.

My dad had the opposite experience there–lots of drugs. It was where he became an addict. He said that the MPs were the best suppliers of the drugs. In his unit, the leadership were heavy users too. (army).

Never get out of the boat...

I've read they do that to keep the troops pissed at them and not at each other. Helps keep fights and animosity between guys down.
