Any clues to slow down chronic diarrhea? All I've gotten so far is moar fiber and probiotic yogurt, which is great for as far as it goes, but can you recommend anything else known to help or hinder the effort, since the docs said, "Eh, look it up on the internet" which has been less helpful than anticipated in meal planning?

The BRATs diet is an absolute no-go. The subject in question is unwilling to do it, and I'm unwilling to fight for it without way, way more convincing that it'll do some good.

Speaking as someone with something that was misdiagnosed as treatment-resistant depression, bipolar II -depression dominant, and cyclothymic disease, it's a crapshoot to find what works for some people.

Now I know I have Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, part of ADHD, but I'm burning through those treatments just as quickly as I did the ones for depression. Out of everything I tried, I found one, venlafaxine, which works enough to keep me on the topside of the grass.

It's at the end of it's effective life, as my body continues to pull back toward my baseline.

The newest doc ordered a DNA test, but I don't know if my insurance ever paid the testing company to process my sample.

And just like the doctors, the therapists come at all levels of talent, some far worse than others. Again, a crapshoot.

Good luck to you, my friend.

Samesies! I mean, yeah, it sucks, but nice to know I'm not alone.

[The only thing that's ever made even a small dent in the time it takes for me to fall asleep is the yoga routine on Yourself!Fitness where I lay in bed during the cooldown pose, but I don't have that gaming system anymore. I can't seem to do it for myself. For some idiot reason, the videos on YouTube don't seem to work right. I regret not standing up for myself when my husband asked if he could give the xbox to his nephew; I protested but didn't say flat-out, "No, I need that. Bring it back here. Now."]

Did it cut down the morning burnout time? I dunno, maybe a daily three-hour workout isn't the worst option if it keeps me from staring at the wall for hours, "Letting my back rest."

Oh, and wake up rested? Yeah, that's not a thing that exists in my world. After a few hours I might wake up enough to function, but I'm usually groggy for a long time after waking.
