Have you ever had any subsequent contact with your familt in Japan?

Apart from obvious things like family and friends, new media and so on, what were some of the odd things you found yourself missing during your service?

Ah, I see. An army is very anti-individual by nature -- that must have been stifling. Hahahaa, I can only imagine...I'm sure the male dominated environment only makes it worse.
