Well, my girlfriend is 1.5 m, 4 ft 11, she is not tall enough to put her luggage on, and a perfectly fit male flight attendant just refused to help by saying "Sorry, I don't do that". Are there absolutely no understanding? She was not being rude but genuinely need help, why is there such a policy anyway?

It takes 13 days because it is now made much FASTER than before, it was usually 2 moths up and I have friends who has been waiting for more than 6 months. During the process, they will verify your details, checking if everything you have submitted is correct and genuine, and whether you meet the requirement to be a student, i.e. whether you have enough money in you bank account. The whole process can actually be done in a few hours, at least it would be the case if you have a face to face visa appointment, so I assume it would also be true for posted application. The reason for the delay is usually the queue, they probably have to get the application submitted before you done until they can start working on yours.

The Biometric Appointment collects you information such as finger prints, these are for identification purpose, so that they know it is you holding this visa when you try to get into the UK.

Its definitely not true, the Mayor of London has dual citizenship of the US and Britain, and was very open about it. People usually give up US citizenship because of they will have to pay tax to the US government even if they live oversea.

I am on the side of the doctors, I do believe the government should in no circumstances reduce doctors pay.

What I do not understand is that why the BMA keep claiming the problem is not the money. If money is not the problem, but only quality if service under such contract, then it implies Jr doctors are happy about the pays, they just dont want to work as many hours as this is deem dangerous to patients, if this is the case, what is the BMA's or your proposed solution?

It seems like this can only be solved by having more doctors, which really is not something you put in the contract with individual doctors, but rather a long term plan the government should promise.

I am very interested in knowing your opinion in what the solution could be.
