What was the biggest obstacle to actually getting down there and starting your trek? Did you need to get permission from a bunch of Antarctic researchers or something?

Are there any that you regularly experience intense cravings for? Which was the hardest to resist going “too far” with?

Where do you stand on legalization of different types of drugs? Are there any you did that you feel strongly should be illegal?

One more question- as I understand it, the middle of Antarctica is a huge, flat expanse. Did you stumble across anything that surprised you? Maybe a weird question but did it ever get boring?

Serious question: are there other sound designers whose work inspired you, or films by others that you consider to be outstanding examples of great sound design?

Goofy question: I don’t suppose you know the story behind the “have a nice trip, see you next fall” line in the dark knight?
