Hey Allie, what are the names of your dogs? Their real names?

What kind of mechanics will facilitate large-scale trade? Will there be currency, or strictly barter? Auction houses? Contracts? Will players be able to effortlessly move around tons of lumber/metal/stone, or will wagons/draft animals be necessary for that?

Thanks for replying. I'd encourage you to flesh out some of these plans on the LiF website re: the MMO version, since I believe economy is critically important in driving player behavior. Without trade, there're no trade shipments to ambush. Without vaults, there're no banks to rob. If players aren't rewarded economically for sacking settlements, they'll either get bored or do it anyway just to watch 'em burn. Neither's healthy for long-term community.

Related questions, if you're still around - How will assets be protected when players aren't logged in? What about infrastructure like trading posts - can the goods there be looted, or are they somehow "safe"? What purpose do houses/structures serve other than hosting crafting stations & looking pretty?
