Hello fellow QA tester! I've just been let go after a big triple A launch along with a lot of other testers (along with op, I'm also under NDA even after my departure)

What are your experiences/thoughts on temporary contracts and the use/abuse of them to get a title shipped?

You seem to have a pretty good sense of humour, how important would you say humour is in the field of science?

A lot of my colleagues left for plain old software testing jobs, pay tends to better overall

Backlist in this context means to have a big catalogue of novels you've already put out. So when people find a novel of yours that's interesting they look you up and go on to buy another one

Producer is my end game role, did you move up internally or have to shop around a bit after the testing gig?
