My uncle just had his transplant a few months ago after dealing with CHF, so I have an idea of what you went through. He was diagnosed around six or seven years ago, and along the way he was put on an artificial heart. Just a couple weeks before his transplant, his son was diagnosed with the same condition, and since then has also been placed on an artificial heart at the age of 22. Now the fear is that my uncle's other kids, and my cousin's own son, are affected by CHF. Same with my mom, and myself and my sisters. I had an EKG the other day that came up fine. But the fear is still there.

So my question is, have you had to go through this with your family? Was there ever any signs that you would be affected by this?

Funny story, my friend started me showing Life According to Jimmy videos, and as I'm watching some I'm like, "Dude this is the UofA." Like two weeks later we come to my house in Tucson for spring break and we decide to go hang out on campus for a few hours. And we see Christian in the bookstore, my friend freaked out a little bit but he wouldn't go talk to him. This was this spring, I'm pretty sure he would have graduated.

I don't have any questions, just wanted to say that as a student pilot I was always super stressed to have to talk to controllers, but I only ever had positive experiences. They always had a lot of patience with me.

Actually I guess I do have a question, is part of the training for ATC involve dealing with students?
