What are your thoughts on "atheistic indoctrination"? That is, teaching one's child not to follow a religion. As atheists, if we absolutely know that there is no higher power, is it then wrong to teach that unto our children? Its absolutely fine to teach the common atheistic principles such as logic and objectivity, but what about teaching that religion is "bad"? Does this undermine and contradict the atheistic pillar of free choice? Does it make us no better than a religon? What do you think?

I’ve always wanted to be involved in public safety/emergency services but not sure as a full time job. Do you have any information or advice on getting involved part time or volunteering?
