Well it could be that what you felt before you were born was amazing and you just don't remember it while you're alive. It doesn't have to be a negative thing.

I also think of it like this: I was in this pre-life state for billions of years and have been alive for 26 years. The pre-life state is what I'm used to by far, and this living portion is just a tiny blip in my journey through the universe.
