My opinion of US politics is so poor that I only interpreted it the bad way until I was most of the way through the reply. :(

I've probably missed you. I'm always a day late with these more interesting IAMA's. :(

I've written some erotic short stories for sites (I like mind control and gender-bending stuff), and while I'm not Shakespeare, I'm pretty good compared to most of the other writers for such places. I've also gotten 40 pages into erotic novels twice and just couldn't stay focused on them. I know I'm not that far from being where you are, but I just can't quite find the missing piece. Reading all this is inspiring me.

Anyway, if you're still around...

Do you hide what you're writing from other people IRL? For example, my significant other wouldn't get what I'm doing. At all. Are you in a similar situation? How do you deal with it if so?

You put out stuff so fast... what is your review process? How many times do you go over one of your stories before showing it to the world?

How were you able to motivate yourself during that period where you weren't making money and weren't getting all the feedback? Do you work on a schedule? What kept you doing more of this and less of, say, playing Football Manager or Out of the Park Baseball?
