ITT: getting downvotes for asking an honest question due to not understanding what a floor/chair routine is.

Bans on tools that do nothing for personal protection or hunting but make it easier to kill more people in a shorter amount of time.

The second amendment has nothing to do with hunting or self defense but about providing for the defense of the state or defense from the state. The framers made it clear that the right to arms was about maintaining the spirit of rebellion that made the revolution possible in the first place. Furthermore the purpose of the constitution is to limit the power of the state and not the power of the people.

Vietnam POWs were really something else. They also engaged in professional military education and in a few instances a few people that went into their POW situation as enlisted members were offered commissions after returning to duty.
