Fellow spaniard here, im from Galicia and i love Cataluña (im a Barça fan and i've been multiple times to the Pirenees and to Barcelona).

I saw that you voted No on some of the responses you made, and i want to know the opinion you might have regarding some questions, so...

  1. Why did you vote instead of staying home?
  2. Is it true that the Generalitat has done close to nothing in the last 2/3 years besides from working towards this situation? (Political Parties like C's and PP have said this multiple times)
  3. Do you think that making Catalonians vote for a reelection of their regional government would be a possible solution to this conflict?

People that would have voted no stayed at home because the referendum was declared illegal by the Spanish Government. On top of that there are instances of journalists voting twice in different places to show how easily it could be done, there wasn't an official list of voters so the vote wasnt secret, the results cannot be used as a meaningfull example of Catalonians will. This vote was poorly organised by Cataluña's Government, and don't get me started on how PP is dealing with this situation, i think we spaniards can now understand the shame Americans may feel with their presidency.
