My-Name-Is-No-One8 karma

Whatever the belief is, be it religion, or how you like to butter your toast in the morning, your reason for leaving the religion, no matter how scientific it is, shouldn't have to involve you convincing your mother that YOU did the right thing. Did you do it for her, or for yourself? And even if you had the best articles, proofs, and facts in the world, do you think your religious mother would really be happy with it? Do you think that she would suddenly turn rational, and logical, and say, "Oh, I understand this, thanks" ?

Religious beliefs are based on faith, not facts, logic, and articles. Giving religious people facts and data is like trying to start a fire with water. Facts and books will not change the ignorance that is faith, unless your mom has some sort of moment of clarity as well. I'm glad to hear you left the cancer that is Islam behind. Wish you the best.

Ha! I was gonna leave it at that, but that would be a sound epitaph:

"Thanks no one!"

Take care man. Happy holidays.

Do you believe in spooky-dookie afterlife stuff? Or once your dead, your dead and nothing more? I mean, we both know which one is more comforting...

What do you think Hitler would say about seeing his genocidal plans of world domination being reduced to a goofy movie about nazis on the moon?
