There’s two types of companies delivering for amazon, DSP 1.0 and DSP 2.0. 2.0s aren’t allowed to pay “route pay” anymore and have to pay hourly to prevent the aggressive driving. They’re also in the process of eliminating 1.0 companies. You’ll see your coworkers speeding without getting written up because each company has a number of routes they’ve committed to running and get heavily penalized if they fall under that. If their recruiting isn’t strong, they have to hold on to poor drivers until they can be replaced.

Depends on the company, some DSPs ignore the scores while others terminate employees that can’t/won’t improve.
