As a Jew, I feel embarrassed by the hyper-aggressive politicians who currently control Israel. There has to be some room for compromise. What I would ask you is what can someone in America do to support the peace process and encourage political moderation in Israel?

It's not just an overstatement, it's completely false. There are many good reasons for a Jewish state to exist, but preventing the collapse of Western civilization is not one of them.

Fuuuuuuuck... This is exactly how I am. I'm 23, 350+ though it's been a while since I've seen a scale. I don't drink soda, I don't eat desserts, anything sweet really. But I am a sucker for something greasy and nasty. Still working on the willpower to resist those late night Wendy's cravings. Congrats on what you've done, you're an inspiration.

What's the tone of those interactions? Is it generally focused on getting particular things done for CO, or are there ever broader policy discussions at play?
