Hi Beto,

I was going to ask you something similar but instead I'll see if you will expand beyond blanket talking points... Here we go:

the leader that we need and are missing... Bringing us together instead.... not walling us off from the rest of the world, or putting kids in cages or turning our back on climate

I would say that these generalities can be applied to many Democratic runners at the moment. Particularly the two who are your biggest contenders, Warren and Sanders.

How do you differentiate yourself from them in any or all of these points?

in Texas we won more votes than any other democrat in the history of the state

This is precisely why there is call for you to stay. We could really use a Blue Texas. I, as are many, am concerned that your at least temporarily throwing your strong star away to jump ahead. (Note this is not a "are you qualified" statement or anything similar)

To gain my support I would like to know more than the incredibly broad fluff you posted.

and that’s how we bring a very divided country back together

Can we please have something more than a overly generalized stump speech? This answer has really soured me. It's as if you pooled together a group of undergrad polisci students and asked them you paint you as blandly as possible.

Will you respond to any of this?

Hi Jill.

My biggest barrier to voting for you is your stance on scientific issues. Wi-Fi, vaccines, nuclear power, etc.

Can you defend why you won't trust those who study these issues as their career?

The appropriate scientists are exactly who we should listen to on these issues. Political argument will never change the data.

Any presidential candidate should be standing by the conclusions these people draw from the data.

But when people cant recognize the characters there is a problem.

I have seen a number of anti-bot ideas that don't include an illegible mash of symbols.

What do you think about this statement:

Lobbying for one group/company limits free market opportunities for any other group/company who could potentially compete for the same roles? Especially if those competitors are unable to afford lobbying.

I ask in relation to statements such as:

"I took meetings with glass bead manufacturers because they wanted their reflective products in lane striping. I met with people who wanted schools to use more astroturf because their clients made it."

Are there not other companies who might have wanted those contracts?

Personally I take a rather hard stance against lobbying. It's not that lobbying in general is bad but rather that lobbying can be bad and history shows that we can't trust business (in general) to be moral on their own, especially when profits are on the line.

This is exactly it. This is exactly why the NSA must be shut down.

The problem isn't that they want to gather information the issue is that they are gathering EVRYONE's information.

There is already a process by which they can identify those who should be monitored, the with a judges approval they can collect data. It's called a warrant. However a warrant requires identifying a target and "someone out there might be a terrorist" is not specific enough.

After getting past the incredibly illegal actions they are performing then you can talk about mis-used funds, their open admission of believing they are above the law, and all the other serious problems with the NSA
