Hello! I have a question in regards of comedy shows. I believe that comedy can serve various purposes, one of them is to criticize society for example, like a humorous was of portraying us and calling us out. But I read (somewhere on the internet) that because comedy is basically for the laughs and it needs context to basically work, you can't think of it for as criticism.
