This statement is in direct opposition to the American Red Cross's recommendation to have 2 weeks of supplies on hand. How do you address that?

Its obvious that "following the recommendations of public health authorities" is what got so many of the Chinese population in trouble. Given how the US media is downplaying this we have no reason to believe that we should fare any better.

In the 80's and early '90's, waterbeds were all the rage. What happened to them? Is there any company who still makes waterbeds?

Maybe take a look at how destructive the CSZ quake could be. Then, after hiding under your bed for a very long time, ask if that 25% chance is something to bet against.
